Breonna's Garden
Thank you for visiting Breonna’s Garden. Breonna loved uplifting the community and bringing people together. Breonna’s Garden is a Virtual Reality experience created in collaboration with Ju’Niyah Palmer, Breonna Taylor’s little sister. The intention of this project is to honor the life of Breonna Taylor while cultivating a safe space online to process complex emotions such as grief. Big Rock Creative produced the experience for YESUNIVERSE. It Premiered at SXSW 2022.

The Objective
- In solidarity with Breonna Taylor's family, we transitioned Breonna’s Garden from augmented reality to virtual reality and created an immersive space of healing for all presented at AWE 2022.
- The experience starts as you are invited into Breonna's Room, a photogrammetry room that exists in the family home to honor her memory. Breonna's mother and her boyfriend tell you about Breonna. The experience continues through a portal to the Garden. The Garden is a sacred space brimming with flowers, butterflies, and stories about Breonna from family and friends. Walk along the path and step on the large stones to hear them.
